Must have been a hell of a current...

Saw a pic in the paper today, looked much better than many Junkyard wars boats I've seen. The paper said they were within 10 miles of Marathon FL (which is roughly 90 miles SW of Miami)

I guess the old Buick made it most of the way.

Man, I'm sitting here thinking how these guys are so damn smart because they were able to build TWO boats out of things that normally sink, but then I think.......why can't they just build a damn BOAT that can go faster than 8 mph! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

The Coast Guard plucked them out of the Buick, then the Buick inexplicably sank...I'm guessing the CG helped it sink even though they'd never come right out and say it.
