I just ran across a deal for a 6 cyl cummins out of a dodge p/u Any one ever swap one in? I got most of it figured out. The dodge is a 2wd with a auto, and I have a divorced 205 laying around somewhere. I have needed an excuse to get new springs, this sounds like a good reason, would diesel K5 springs be heavy enough or do I need to have some custom ones made? Any one know if it will pyhsically fit in the truck without major sheetmetal mods? I looked at the donor in the dark last night so I could not see too much or take any measurements. I am open to any suggestions!

I saw a Crew Cab Chevy 4x4 recently that had a cummings and a 5 speed. It was mid-80's, I don't think it had any major sheet metal mods. I am wanting a cummins in my 6.2 blazer now. Somebody used to have an ad in Petersons for a kit to convert but have had no luck finding the ad!

Was it red? I saw one at a swap meet last year in Conroe. Looked like a factory option. BTW where is Azle, TX?

The one I saw was blue. If you know where Dallas/Fort Worth is, Azle is sorta west of Fort Worth, about 20 miles from downtown Fort Worth I think, not positive.
