My truck with all trailgear, full tank of fuel and a soft top with me in it weighed 5700 lbs...it'll top 6000 by spring.

I figure about 5200 without hard top. About 5500 ( my truck is a full convert so top is heavier) with. 1 ton axles add about 350lb to the truck. So that's in line with what Rene posted. Add 200lb for me

My crewcab tips the scales at 7700lbs /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
The TBI 350 is good for what - 210hp? That makes for a downright nasty 36-2/3 lbs/hp. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Dunno what the Burb weighs.... guessing 5000lbs anyway.

What do you drive a Toyota truck with no bed, no doors, no seats and no front fenders or hood?
No way any 4x4 truck with a full body weights that little. Hell my Supra Weighs 3,400lb. A Mitsubishi Eclips weighs 2600lb and they are a pretty light car.

Ohh a 2wd Chevy luv...yeah I could believe that empty would weight that much I have helped take one completly appart. My buddys Chevy luv weighs probably 3100 lb ( the truck I helped take appart). Course that built 350 with bug collector does add a little weight as does the 600 watt stereo.
