    I just finished mounting the Pre-Runner tire carrier & 60" Hi-Lift in the bed of my rig, I finally got tired of the thing smackin me in the head everytime I slammed on the brakes! LOL! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    I like!. Looks good.
    IF I build a Pre runner I think I'm going to mount mine like the do for the big Off road races like Parris to Dekar. The have a craddle that you roll the tire into standing up. It has a ratchet strap over the top of the tire to hold it in. That would keep some floor space for gear but be a heck of a lot eaiser to deal with than the stock mount. I even though of building a wall behind the passenger seat to seal the cargo area from the seating area. Use a truck slider window so you could still get air in if you wanted too. Then run either a truck gate or no gate. Just thought it might be pretty cool to have the back open all the time for quick access to gear.

    I plan on using a in bed truck box behind the seats for storage of extra parts and tools an such.
