I have a 700/208 combo and the crossmember hangs REAL low. Butch at 4x4 Iron said that if there is enough interest he might build new replacements that increase ground clearence & break over angles, not to mention protection for our aluminum transfer cases. If you are interested in a new crossmember please post on my thread that you would be interested. Here is the link to my post on 4x4 Iron forum.

About time someone thought about this. I have been looking at building my own, but if someone would make one at a reasonable $ ($100 or so) I would buy it.

Please post interest on the link provided. That way Butch see's it for sure. I am also looking for about the same price range as his doubler crossmember, but I will be willing to pay some more (up to $150-200 or so) for a beefy piece with a beefy crossmember.

Nobody Else interested? Come on, don't be shy. We are talking ground clearence, strength, protection, and breakover angle improvements. Nobody else with a 700/208 is interested?
