I designed them and a friend built them. They are out of 2" d.o.m. the center pieces are 1.5" mounting arms are 2" and also angle iron to bolt onto the pinch weld of the rocker panel. They were fairly easy to install and are very stout. After instalation was complete we picked up one whole side of truck with the hilift and rotated my tires. Intersted in a set let me know and I can have them made to order and shipped anywhere.[/image]http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Albumindex?u=1239869

Looks good man. Those look a lot like the All Pro Offroad ones in 4Wheel and Offroad a while back. Do yours go to the frame? I've been thinking about something like this for my truck instead of just some nerf bars. My truck is an IFS Blazer K1500, but similar dimensions, how much would a set cost me?

Do you have a pic from underneath? Also, ditto to AJMBlazer's Q's; do they go all the way to the frame and how much $? Other than that, from what I can tell they look pretty sharp!..

    Thanks,

Those things look real sharp. If you can I would like to know pretty much the same information. I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks a lot

they mount to the pinch weld on rockers and there are 2" tubes mounted to the frame that you can bolt on or weld on. They are very strong and dont lose clearance like a nerf bar. I used to have nerfs and broke them off on rocks they were always in the way couldnt wait to see them go!! As for price $325 + shipping anywhere. They come painted your color of choice and include all mounting hardware for bolt on!! you can specify longer or shorter narrower or wider or just like mine. I would highly recommend to the hardcore wheeler. any takers??????

Man those are NICE!!!!! Mind if I do something simular to your design on my rig? I can't mount them on my rig like yours but I can weld them to my existing nurfs for some better protection from the side.

dont mind a bit. if you want you can change the tube size from 1-3". if you know what you want email a picture and he can make it. these are really overkill but look very stout!!!

If they are mounted to the frame and body without any rubber, do you think they would carry vibration from the frame to the body?
I have a set from S.E.C. that I have to mount up yet and might put a piece of old tire or something in between the frame and where the slider bolts up.

HAVN'T HAD ANY PROBS OR VIBES YET. THEY BOLT TO THE ROCKERS AND FRAME AS LONG AS YOU GET THEM TIGHT I DONT SEE A PROBLEM. ALSO THIS PERSON IS MAKING A CUSTOM CROSSSMEMBER TO GAIN ME SOME CLEARANCE AND STRENGHT. THIS WILL INCLUDE A CUSTOM SKIDPLATE. I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS HOPEFULLY THIS WEEKEND.

What about flexing between the frame and the body, I don't know if you would want the frame and body to be connected, may be a problem with twisting, maybe not. Sorry for all the questions, I am going through the same kind of questions with the SEC sliders, I think I will bolt them to the body only for now and see how they do, these are prototypes that I am working with Fredd on. I may use brackets that spread the load over the body more, I need to sleep on it some more I guess.

Just my 2 cents, but if you bolt them to the frame and the body without any kind of bushings, you are going to have a rougher ride and probably some noise. The body is mounted to the frame with bushings for a reason.
