Has anyone made or purchased a locking secure center console that would fit a 91 blazer? I`m looking for pictures to get some ideas from as I am planning on making a center console from aluminium and incorporating cup holders and an all weather padded armrest. I want to take my top off the blazer and I need secure storage. I also plan on making some boxes to fit over the wheelwells in the back for all my ropes, chains, parts, etc....

Pictures or linkgs would be appriciated.

I'll be getting one of these one of these days..have enough other projects besides buying one of these and adapting it to bolt into the stock holes.

Pricey, but anyone here that thinks they can make one with the same quality and design for less, I'll buy one : ) I'm betting if you figure time spent on making something like this, you would be well over what they charge.

If you go to tuff's web site you can get an in depth tech drawing of they're boxes! I was going to copy it but I just decided to buy one

I've got the Tuffy console. It's one of the best improvements I've made on my truck. I could never go back to not having one.

I have a Tuffy in my 79. Have the model with out the radio/CB compartment. Easy to install, requires two people, one to put a wrench on the insde bolt, the other to tighten it from the bottom (3 bolt total). If you get the wrench on the inside just right, you can do it by your self. Locks up and does'nt rattle even if you don't lock the lid, has a cup holder you mount on the rear and a small try on the inside. And it can support my 220 lb's.
