    He's got one as "buy it now" for 1300 bucks plus 250 shipping. For me that's kindof high but that SOB's ready to go and on your doorstep within 7 days.

    too bad it has the sh**ty spring perches that crush over time.

    It aint exactly ready to go. If your putting it in a 1 ton then it is. If its going in a blazer, the shock mounts and spring perches will have to be cut off and re-welded to the right locations. I bought my 14ff, brand new, with 4.56's, and a full detroit for $550. They are military surplus units. They are actually rated at 5/4 ton and came from the factory with the gears and detroit. He added the disk brakes.

    They're CUCV axles with a coat of paint and a disc brake conversion. If that's really your bag shoot me a PM and I'll give you an e-mail addy where you can get them MUCH cheaper.

    Thats what I was saying. It is just a cucv axle with a fresh coat of paint and some disks.

    Dana doesnt make gearsets for GM axles. What a joke.
