    Hey,
Check out the webshots album below to see some pictures of my fresh paint. It is Dupont base/clear. 4 layers of clear actually to buff out the trail scratches. It was done in my friends garage. I painted on the herculiner on the bottom of the doors and rockers. I did some additional fender trimming to stop that terrible noise when flexed out.
I know paint is purely a cosmetic thing but this thing hasn't been painted for the last 4 years, so i decided to treat it. It's my daily driver and I plan on keeping it looking good., but i'll still use it like I used to.

Just thought I'd post the pics for ya'll to check out.

Let's see...About 3 years worth of body work (aka rust removal), $1000 in paint and supplies, and way too much labor...That's about what it took.

Looks good, Sometimes I think SS stripes are overdone but yours look good. They've got the pinstripes around the solid part and they stop on the hood like a SS camaro/chevelle, not run down the front like they were painted with a roller in the dark. Very nice!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Now you need some bumpers, Are you the "local buyer" of Neil's bumpers? Those would look good!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Yes, it looks even better in person. It will be real fun watching Blake cave in the bedsides on his maiden voyage! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Don't worry Blake, you will get a burst of laughter out of theBigdaddyof2/Shaggy ride - they are very supportive! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Neal, if you think that will be funny, you should have seen Dan cringe in the first 50 feet of the orange trail when he dragged tree roots down his bedside.
