    Eh, you have researched this, right? You understand that the floors will need reinforcing and/or a strong forward cage mount?

    dont let any of your weak ass friends help
    had a buddy of mine drop it and scrape the side of my truck up...

    my mom, my gf, hell my grandma have all helped me take it off...but hes not a strong one

    thanks guys i had some help from a few forum junkies and it cleared up my questions. just one more though. when you say the floor needs reenforcment would simply boxing my frame under the cab work instead?

    Do like Polaris suggested, search, it's been covered in detail. Short answer, no, boxing the frame won't help. Without the top, there is nothing but the floor to hold the windshield, cowl, and firewall in position. When I cut the top off my pickup cab, I had to prop up the cowl with a 2x6 to hold it in position (but I cut much more than just the top). Full converts had "rocker boxes" (basically extra sheet metal supports forming a sort of box) to structurally tie the cowl to the bed sides.
