Cutting fenders, what is that thing on the back?

    On the back fenders, the part that has a bar connecting the fender to that other thing. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Can I just disconnect that and cut right there? Does it hold anything together?

    It is just a support rod..GoldRush cut his out. I think most people do..I am going to..Dan

    I relocated the support bar on mine ;-) But I do not think it was necessary.
