Man, after seeing what some guy in one of gokartergo's pics did to his topper, i have decided to cut up my extra. For now I think I am going to cut out the roof following the line and see if I can make similar to a t-top except not go all the way to the sides. Make a soft top for that and seperate ones for removing the windows. This would let me keep the rear window hoop which I have been thinking about and reduce the weight when I want to go topless. Any other Ideas? I may cut more if I don't like it like maybe just following the bedrails and the cab, but I don't relish cutting out the metal channel that the rear window slides into. I will post some pics when I'm finished.

I cut the hard top thru the metal support at the back. It wasnt that bad as long as you realize its there. I didnt know about it and busted a few jigsaw blades before I clued in. The soft top idea of just cutting the center out is good, but there isnt anything like running full top off.
