So I filled the boat up last weekend when we finished fishing. It was somthing like 40 degrees out and raining.

So I come home today- it's 70 degrees out and everything smells like gas. GD boat has gas leaking out of the fill cap cause now it's expanded and overfilled. So now all the wax is gone and the deck paint is yellow again.

Gad I can be stooopid sometimes!:doah:

They say the happiest day in a boat owners life is the day he buys it and the day he sells it.

Also, Boat= Bring Out Another Thousand - as stated by the boat shop.

Wow!!!! Yur bithcen about a little gas leaking on your boat.??????
Try a engine failure 50 miles offshore and you might get my ear.

Jees buy a little wax and buff it out. No big deal.... Maby you should sell your boat if you are that anal about it.
If gas bothers you. How go you deal with the fish guts?

Don't feel bad, I popped two welds on my flying bridge a couple weeks ago jumping 5 footers. Time to make it stronger I guess :doah:

Yes I know but it's still a lot of work.
I'd have been happy to only spill some gas.
My story is too long to out up now but it involves the boat mechanic not
getting the throttle cable right and putting my boat into the sea wall.
    Maybe I'll tell it later.
Anyone have some more pictures? FUN FUN FUN!!

NO! I was running for parts. The boat mechanic did it.
At least he pulled the kill switch fast and only sheared off
the bow pulpit (anchor roller). It needed to be replaced anyway,
so it was on there buck but no damage to the boat...luckyyy.

Well, after 3 hours cleaning gas out of the bilge and another hour of soap and water and some buffing and waxing boat looks ok again. Still a faint stink but I'll get over it.

Since it was fueled and ready to run we went and did a little fishing. My buddies say we haul too much in the boat - what do you think?

The two coolers were up in the bow, but we only had 5 tackle boxes and 7 poles for the 4 of us :D

Sounds just abot right to me!
    Two coolers is a MUST
    When we went out last, I think we were prety close;
    2-coolers
    12- poles
    5-tackle boxes
    for 5 guys.
Nice picture BTW. See, it all worked out good.
