Is there a difference in axle shaft lengths between a chevy and ford front D44?

I would have to say Yes they are different. Ford has Driver's side pumkin and Chevy is Passenger's side. I doubt they are the same distance and just oposite.
I am guessing so I could easily be wrong....
    Good luck

I got a set of spider gears to work in a ford TTB D44 and they were out of a chevy D44... who knows how long they'll work... I just did that so I could sell it with "working 4x4"
