There isnt any difference between hubs. Just one has drive flanges and one has lock outs...

A drive flange takes the place of the lockout, it is essentially a non-selectable hub that is always locked. No moving parts, just connects the hub to the axleshaft.

The axles that have a flange on them came from a full-time 4WD truck. You can remove the flanges and replace them with locking hubs. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif I kept the flanges to use as emergency field replacements for a busted hub. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
