If I put my D44 Knuckles on my 10 bolt will my 10 bolt tie rod fit into those knuckles i know that on the D44 the rod ends go in through the top of the knuckles where as the 10 bolt goes in through the bottom I'm planning for the cross over steering and have everything to do it except the movivaton becouse my rig can't be down for more than a couple of days.
I already have the 2WD power steering box and drop pitman arm D44 knuckles and another tie rod end off of another 10bolt.

well, let me tell ya what i did--
i bought what i thought was an 83 8-lug d44, but after "thatK30guy" wes, broke it down to me, it ended up being a 76 HD dana 44. it had flat top knuckles, but i couldnt get the ball joints out (the knuckles were bending when the press came down!)---so, i put the knuckles, tie rod, and spindles off of my 1989 GM 10 BOLT on there and they fit perfect. interestingly enough, was that the tie rod configuration was exactly the same i.e. one long, one short, with the stabilizer hole next to the short one on the driver side. exactly like my 10 bolt was.

so, i will have to say yes, they will fit.

wes can give you the ends and outs, in fact, i will send you what he wrote PM'd me back in feb/mar.
