Anyone getting rid of any front D44 8 lug (old stuff... 60-76 vintage axle) parts down there? Im looking for axle shafts, locking hubs, lockers etc that I might be able to stuff into a suitcase! ;)

May try to pick up a Detroit locker for my D44... yank this TruTrac outta there.

What about local junkyards around the Phoenix area? Would they happen to have any D44 axles? Im not having any luck finding a replacement here for a decent price.

    Maybe a D60 even?

    Thanks

I know where you can find a complete dana 44 with the external style hub design in a junk yard. It had drive flanges on it.

Look up Chi-town Auto in the Phoenix Directory. The yard directly west of them had the D44 complete with 8lug setup. There was probably some other D44 stuff in that yard too.

JaysBeast on here may have some external hub 8 lug stuff. You might drop him a line.

There wasn't squat to be had in Ecology. I walked threw there about a week ago and saw nothing worth noting. Andrew has it all hidden for half off day.

A good friend of mine has a D60 with 4.56 gears way up in Duluth Minnesota. I was going to purchase it for my K5, but the shipping was not cost effective and I could not get my Dad to deliver it to me.

Found a diff up here. Problem is its attached to a complete truck, so I have to take the whole thing! 500.00, I guess its not a bad price. I should be able to turn around some parts and get some $$ back.

    Thanks anyways.
