I may be out of line posting this here, if so let me know. That said, I regularly keep an eye on eBay and often see things of possible interest to this forum.

At the moment there is an entire 1 ton drivetrain for sale for $1000, stated to be in good condition. Its actually a whole military surplus truck with a shot 6.2 diesel. He didn't list the ratio or 14 sf/ff

    Hey Mike,

    Yep..........it's true. I am going large. It's hard to beat a TH400, NP205, D60, and 14FF for $1000.00[IMG]

I figured I better do it now since these deals don't grow on trees. What is even better is I won't have to mess with the 14FF spring perches since I have a first Gen. [IMG]

Anybody need a set of 3/4 ton axles (14FF, D44HD) w/4.10 gears complete just let me know. I don't need them any more, I'm going 1 ton.[IMG]

    See Ya,
    Keith

How much do you want for them. I need to do a rear axle swap because I don't know how much longer the 12bolt will last and 3.73 sucks with 36's. I wanted to go with a D60 but if the price is right than maby the HD D44 will work untill I find one.
