I finally got a chance to start looking over a D60 I bought last fall. One side has the dust shield around the rotor, but its beat and bent. The other side is rusted away. I assume these are dealer only items, are they worth the money to replace them? How many of you guys use them? I guess maybe it depends what kind of fourwheeling you do, mud vs rocks, I'd like to do some of both. I could use some opinions here.

Also, I'm missing the drivers side u-bolts, and especially the plate the u-bolts fit into. Where can I get a plate?
Junkyards here in Ohio won't have this stuff, because it either rusted away, or they won't split up parts. Thanks for the input.

Pulled mine off during the D60 rebuild, over a year ago. No issues.

I saw the plates on ebay last week, they may still be there. Search for "Dana 60".

Mine used to get packed with mud. Took them off with no issues.

Thanks for the tips guys! I checked ebay, price is up to $70 for a pair! I called the local dealership and they want $61.51 for one! I think I'm gonna bid first, and see what happens, then hit the dealership.
