Dave, I would still like to use the High Pinion axle with the ORD Doubler. We talked about this a while back. How hard was it for you to find the Ford axle? I have been looking on the web and at the local junk yards but no luck. It seems that there are more GM D60's Than Ford D60's.

Dave the 86 to 92 or 93 Fords all had King Pins in them and in 92-93 they went to a Ball joint. The Later ones have spring perches at 37". So if you use the early ones I didn't think you have to change the perches or anything. I could be wrong on that. I thought the early Fords used a 32" spring to spring center but don't quote me on that. Maybe Dave can tell us more about that early axle.

early dana 60(78-79) as 31.5 in center to center same as any chevy front so it is a bolt on instalation, for the shock you have two choice
1-cut the mount from your 10 bolt and weld it back on the 60 housing. OR
2-use the stock ford mount with the 76-79 shock tower for a bolt on instalation.
