D60 pinion nut 1 5/16 or 1 3/8?

    Well? Is the pinion nut 1 5/16 or 1 3/8?

    Mike,
    It is 1 5/16". If it is a 1310 yoke you will need a fairly thin wall socket to fit in there.

    Thanks Russ! That is exactly the problem I am having. My 1 5/16 socket isn't thin enough to get in there. I guess I will be making a trip to Sears this afternoon.

    Mike,
    I did get the mail, sorry I have been meaning to write you and let you know, but I accidently erased all my saved mail and lost your address. If you are getting a 3/4" drive socket, the one I got from Sears was too thick. I wound up getting a cheapie from CarQuest that worked.
