D60 REAR?

    Did chevrolet ever use D60 rears I have heard 2people say they have D60's out back in chevrolet are they ford or dodge axles? or did chevrolet use them too?

    Chevy and GMC used them in the first generation of 3/4 ton's. 67 to 72. Along with the Eaton rear axle.

    Yep, I sold one a few months ago that came out of a 65. 4.56 gears, 30 spline, FF.

    I also have laying around, a SF 60 that came out of an 80s GM truck. And yes it IS a 60 and NOT a 14SF and it was the orig. rear axle.

    I never heard of it either, but I have one. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
