D60 spindal torque, need them faste. thanks

    im not talking about the two flat nuts holding the hub on, im talking about the 6 nuts holding the spindal on the knuckle.

    i did a search.
    and i looked in the D60 manual. not there on ethier count.
    anybody?

    What diameter are they - I'm at work but can look up the standard torque for steel bolts of that size if you want.

    I would go to the following places - the torque for a 1/2 in coarse thread ranges from 47 ft-lbs for Low carbon steel to 119 for Grade 8 bolts, The nuts and bolts section referenced below also has a section to help you identify the grade.

    33 ftlbs on 80 model D60 and 65 on 81 to 87.
    i went and bought a chiltons for the truck my 60 came out of.

    33 on the 80? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif What, did it have aluminum bolts or something?
