I am replacing the spindle bearings and seals in my D60, and the kit comes with a plastic spindle thrust washer/spacer. The one already in/on my 60 is brass. Has anyone reused the brass piece or replaced it with the plastic (either way)? Does it matter? I suppose I would rather re-use the brass thrust washer for pure durability purposes. Anyone forsee any problems with this?

I reused my brass ones with no problems. I would think that as long as they are not scared up they should be fine. In fact, I just saw some used ones on Ebay that I was going to buy but missed because I forgot until it was too late.

I'd reuse the brass if it's not scarred up bad myself. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
