    jegs has some stamped flat black covers for 89 a set, without the chevrolet logo.. i plan on running them on my motor whenever i get around to building it.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    I hear ya, I was just surfing Jeg's site when I came acrost those, and though they look cool, but not $200.00 worth of cool.

    yeah..no way id spend 200 bucks on valve covers, just because they say "Chevrolet"...if you dont know its a chevrolet by the bowtie on the grille.. i shouldnt have to spell it out under the hood LOL

    These [​IMG] are only $135.00 . I like, but $135.00 is still alittle high for me.

    i have a set like that. they were made for nascar originally they are worth the money i want a big block set hey k20 what did you pay for the ones you have? also as a side note when those first came out classic camaro had them listed in their catalog for $389.00 each i paid 200 10 years ago

    I paid $263 from Scoggins for my BB ones, but they were bare and I painted em like they are. Scoggins has the smallblock for $199. On the BB ones there were about $20 cheaper than Jegs and Summit. Smallblock they are about the same.

    i am going to go to 2 piece valve covers. can get a set for less than $50 bucks and can adjust valves without having to remove the valve covers

    motorchrome.com lists them on ebay but could not find it on thier catalog

    MCC107t-2p is the part number

    Maybe you could "do a search", get stock stamped steel valve covers, clean'em up and spray'em whatever color you like and hand letter the "Chevrolet" across them! /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
