    It's a convenience store. Kinda regional, but getting bigger. Used to be just PA and NJ, but there's a few in VA now. Probably some in DE and NY, but I'm not sure.

    They have been in MD for a long time. Wawa's are like 7/11, but a little nicer. Usually have a deli and make fresh subs and other foods. They have been rapidly expanding over the last few years.

    The real scary part is I actually know what a Wawa is! /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif Their coffee is OK - the 20 oz. travel mug is GREAT! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    WaWa... We knew when we were gettin' into South Jersey when we started to see the WaWa's... None of them up north though. We have the old standby 7-11 instead.

    yeah well I'm just over the river from middle Jersey. Wawa's are HUGE in my area. You can't go anywhere without spotting a few of them. They are just like 7-11s but many have gas stations as well. In the language of some tribe in Canada it means goose. Their logo is a goose, surprise.
