I have an NP208 case currently and have an opportunity to get a dana 20. This will be going on my '85 blazer with a 700r4 trans. Is it worth the trouble to swap it out? And if it's worth the swap, how much work will be involved? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The NP-208 case is actually a stout unit and I'd keep it instead of the Dana 20. While well built, the Dana 20 was not meant for heavy duty applications. The 208 is much lighter, probably just as strong(maybe stronger) and is very easy and cheap to rebuild if needed. If you really want to get a heavy-duty t-case, get a 205.
