dana 44 brake lines

    what kind of brake line do i need for a dana 44 with 8 lugs? i just converted but have no brake lines and my original lines dont fit the new calipers.

    If your old ones are from your 88 1/2ton 10bolt, then no, they won't fit a D44 cause of the banjo bolt difference. You have 2 choices here, go out and buy some new brake lines for a D44 caliper or just swap over your 10bolt calipers onto the D44 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Yes. The only difference is the brake line fitting (10mm for a 10B and 3/8" for a D44).

    looks like im going to have to buy new extended line anyhow if anyone has any of those. this little stuff just for swapping in a 14 bolt and dana 44 outers is nickel and diming me to death. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif
