Is it possible to take a Dana60 out of a jeep wrangler, and put it into a 86 Blazer K5? If possible what all will be required?

Rear D60's are dime a dozen. Any D60 under the back of a Heep would likely be too narrow for a K5 unless it was a full width diff.

I think one of the narrower D60 rears is the one found under some 70's Jeep J20 pickups.

Maybe look at E250/E350 vans to get a D60 with the same width as your front axle. (GM truck rears are a coupla inches narrower on the rear than the front.)

$300 for a D60 rear? is it locked or something? 14BFF can be had for $100 and D70's for around $200.

Also, if you wanna hawk your wares, you need to put it in the For Sale Secion and pay Steve teh necessary $25 to do so

So w/o any details about what it came out of or what kind of mods were done to it you want us to tell you if it will now fit a K5? Go buy a tapemeasure!
