    Greetings,

I replaced the side, spider gears and shaft in my carrier and they seem kinda tight. Not totally locked up, just really tight. Is this normal? I accounted for all the used shims so that's not it. Should I stick my old shims in to see if it loosens up. It'll be awhile before I can talk my wife into an ARB.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

All new parts will be tighter than the old used stuff. If this is a front axle, don't worry about it. If its a rear, check it after it gets some miles on it.
