I just bought mine not too long ago and with install it cost me$2000

note:brand new military one still in the crate/ and it included a new drive shaft.

It was a good deal. I can get them new in the crate for $1800 so with a new shaft and all it is a good price.

don't look at it that way. Because now you have a BRAND NEW Dana 60. You will not have to worry about breakage very much. I would say that the price is unfortunately average.

Where can you get them for 1800? Is this complete hub to hub?

Look in the parts section for Dana 60's and 14ff's for sale.
