I just went to buy a lock ring nut socket so I can pull off my rotors and the only one I see is a 6 groove style for chevy 1tons, but my 60 has a big 4 groove style. I think I better pull the hub off again and count the splines. I also saw a socket for a for 70 or 80 and the socket looked like the right size, but had this big ass sleeve on it. Any input is helpfull, Pete.

pete there is 2 types of sockets. The 4 tooth and 6 tooth. I bought the 4 tooth at first when it turned out i needed a 6. So i did what you did only in reverse. Early 60s use 6 tooth, and late models use 4. Any parts shop should carry both.
