One phone call to ORD will get you most of it.

GU5101 GM 35 Spline d60 Stub Shaft (Qty 2) $75. ea
U5-733X Spicer 733X Forged Cross Greaseable Triple Seal axle joint (Qty 2) $48 ea.

Then call DynaTrac:

Warn 62672 35-Spline Hubs (The one's that supposedly don't exist!) $209.

In this case, I can't SLAM Dynatrac....they had the parts that NOBODY else does, they KNEW what I was talking about, and the price was NOT excessive.... 'nuff said. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

That's basically it. Pretty simple swap compared to most of the other work I did on my D60. I'd say go for it.

I got the parts from Drivetrain Direct. $50 each stub (real Dana stubs), $44 for each joint. I got the 38786 hubs, which were originaly intended for rear full float conversions, but I believe they're just as strong as the ones that Greg got. $165 for the hubs.

Not to robb the post, but a relative question... If the D60 is already 30 spline, does 35 spline really make that much difference?? I've got two D60 and they're both 30 splines, no problems yet, but is it really that big of a deal? Should this expensive upgrade be a upcoming concern or is it just that the upgrade is out there, so just do it for that little extra strength and forget about it!????? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

If you ever see a 35 spline stub up against a 30 spline you will see the BEEFY difference. The 30 spline is like 1.3 inch or something, the 35 spline is 1.5" If you pull one of your 30 spline stubs, there its the thickest, where it rides the spindle bearing, the 35 is that big all the way out.

I got my hubs from Clemson 4x4 183.00 shipped to the door. Spicer Forged Ujoints and 35 spline shafts I got from Randys ring and pinion. They were 167.00 shipped to the door. Thats 350 for the full deal TOTAl including shipping. Cheapest I have seen the full setup yet.

Just do a search with google, they have a web site. Or look in the back of a 4x4 mag, they always have an add with something about free shipping on warn winches.
