They are usually worth what a Chevy D60 is worth. Expecially if they are High Pinion. GM people can install a 241 T-Case from an 87-up 4x4 truck and use them. Or, if you wanted to get real creative. Order a Doubler setup for Ford NP205. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

BUY IT!! If nothing else you should easily be able to make $500 on it and still give someone a fair price. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

the 78-79 ford d60 is worth more then the rest of the ford 60's it was only made for two years, Its a bolt in swap for most of the older fords and i think the spring perches even line up to swap it into a chevy,, not 100% on that...

my friend just paid like 1400 for his 78-79 d60

By all means get it ! I had a 1987 SRW Ford Dana 60 that NEVERENUF and I traded back and forth for years and finally someone offered me $1500.00 for it as is - so it was SOLD .
The guy was putting it in a brand new Chevy and needed the driver side diff. It has been my experience that the Ford 60's are just as in demand as the Chevy/Dodge versions.
Sounds like a good investment to me.
