Looks like 97-up Ford E350 to me.... Although there's nothing there to really indicate Dana 60 or 70. Both were available as a full-floater.

The seller should post a spline count! Its only 30 on a D60 and 32 on a D70. BOM might be nice too.

Here's a 2000 Econoline specs page... check out page 14 under Rear Axle Specifications.

I agrre with u2slow on the fact that most dana 60 rear's have 30 spline and that the seller should have posted a spline count. But hope he is not implying that all dana 70's had 32 spline . I have a 35 spline dana 70 rear that I swapped in to my Blazer. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    hehe... not at all /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

"Real" dana 70's are 35-spline. I was surprised to find out Ford used the 32-spline stuff... I thought it was strictly a Dodge thing.

I e-mailed the seller, he told me it was out of a 01' Ford F-250. I thought they only came with sterling rearends? I wrote back asking him to make sure which axel it was.

    An '01 F250 does use a Sterling (now called a Visteon) 10.5" - not a Dana 70.

I'm going to assume that is in fact a Dana 60 - unless he can verify the ring gear size or axle spline. These newer Dana axles don't have a "60" or "70" cast into the webbing anymore so they can be tough to identify.
