Dana60 Question... PLEASE HELP

    OK So I got a good buddy with a junkyard and he has so many stinking front ends and whatnot... what would a dana60 be under??? What kind of truck would it be on... What year??? what do I need off of it???
    PLEASE HELP!!!

    assuming it's for your blazer, you need to look for 77-91 k-30 chevy trucks that are single wheel. All, unless swapped out will have the sought after 60. You will also need to snag the ubolts and plates.

    IT'S A 1 TON THING.... IF I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!!!

    They are on Dodges and Fords but for a direct swap you will need one from a GM.

    a dodge one can be made to work
    they are narrower
    the spring mount cl is about 1" wider on the dodge
    i have been thinking a set of offset bushings might get you closer
    the dodge steering arm is a good piece to get if your chev is lifted at all
    w 10"springs i used a retapered dodge arm, 2" drop pitman, and 2.75" block to put the steering linkage as good as it can be.
