Someone out there has a dark blue Blazer w/ a smoothed topper, cowl hood and a big aftermarket front bumper. It was in an accident before the current look. I need to get topper smoothing info from you please... Thanks, Gary

    Gary,

Don't know anything about the Blazer you described, but smoothing the top is relativley simple. Being fiberglass it just takes a lot of sanding and priming.

I smoothed the topper on my moms 4runner when I painted it, the texture is just a special paint. I'm gonna smooth mine when i paint it. Now I have seen a topper that had fiberglass showing. I think the paint had worn off that one,it's the only one I've seen like that. As long as yours is still just textured it should only need to be sanded down (it goes pretty kwik) If its showin fiberglass it'll take more work.
