I guess I better add oil to that little fan that keeps things cool inside. Sounds like my heater blower motor in my Suburban the last two years.

I had an old 586 that the P/S supply fan would turn every so often til it ground to a hault. Ran like that for 3 years /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Well, so far I've found 3 fans in my computer. Their names, I don't know exactly, but all 3 need to be replaced. I wish I knew half as much about computers as I do '73-'80 Chevy trucks.

Not 2 days later after I read this post I plugged in my PC in the outlet in the dinning room when POW my power supply smoked then popped a 1000 mic. farad capacitor. It was rather loud.
