Dash bezel fit question

    any one ever put a dash bezel from an 81-88 in an 89??? If so how did it fit? According to LMC they are diferent, I called them but they couldnt tell me why.

    As far as I know, the only difference is that 89-91 used a different radio, and had a larger opening.

    Ive never done it, but my buddies 89 Jimmy looks like it has the same dash in it. The only difference is the gas gauge. His shows a circle empty for E and mine says E, etc..
