does any one know if there is a good clean looking dash bezel out there for a 79 jimmy. i check my lmc catl. but the only thing they have is the org. for my year. I was looking for a brushed alum. or something nice along those lines.

I have found this is the case with many things. LMC has them and they are really expensive (250?) I actually got mine from the parts department from the local Chevy dealer. It was $118, but I know a dealer who gave me a discount, so it was around $85. You'd really be surprised that the dealer has parts you think they wouldn't for a fairly decent price.

http://www.cheyennepickup.com has the brushed aluminum kit. I just installed mine a few weeks ago. It looks awesome. I also painted the A/C vents and edges of the control panel with "chrome" paint. I'll post some pics soon.

I think it was about $50.
