    Hello All,

I've got a 79, no A/C. My heater controls are not lit at night, and I have a bare dash light bulb hanging by the wire below it.

I assume this bulb fits up in behind the heater control somewhere? I can't really see it, as the radio is in the way.

Can anyone give me some specific directions on where the bulb mounts so I can try to wiggle it back in there.

The best way to do it is to take the dash bezel off. There are probably 8 screws that hold it on, and then take off the bottom pieces around the steering column. One os plastic and the other one is metal. There are 4 screws that hold the A/C controls on and you can pull it out. You should be able to see the holder for the light in there. You might need to get a new holder for it, and I got it at the dealer for $6. Good luck

yea, it's a piece of cake. pull off your dash bezel. then unbolt the heater controls, 4 little screws/bolts. pull the heater plate/controls out and stick the bulb in the hole in the rear of it. don't forget, the bulb holder should go in flush-then give it a quarter turn.
