I changed this bulb about a month ago, and it is already out. When I put it in it didn't fit tightly in the socket like the rest, so it probably wiggled loose.

I don't know what the thing it plugs into is called, so I'm having a hard time finding it. All I see in LMC is 'printed circuits' and I don't think that's what I need.

So...what's that thing that the bulbs plug into called? Is there another way to fix this short of just replacing the board? TIA

If you pull the socket out, Their are 2 brass tabs on it. Take a small screw driver and pry them up a little. Thats what I did.

Your best bet is to get some new sockets, I screwed around with them and as soon as I would put the dash back together they would keep going off, I replaced the loose sockets and viola! no more outages.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
