Well, I'm happy to say that it (Database-Based Thread and Forum Read Marking) is alive and well on our Sister site http://towrig.com .
I hope to have it here on CK5 maybe late November, want to make sure everything works correctly on a smaller site first.

Right now I have it set to mark everything as read every 10 days, meaning if you don't come to the site for 10 days it will mark everything as read, I can adjust that of course. I believe you have to be registered to take advantage of this as it stores what you have read in the database with your username.

Anyway, you can also check out the latest photo gallery there as well: http://towrig.com

Does that mean it has a counter so that slate gets wiped clean after 10 days or does it mean that any posts that are older than 10 days will be marked as read.
