Spent most of this weekend helping my daughter Jessica with a school project. She chose to do her project on the Netherlands...

This is the base and model we built. There is a backboard with pics, flags and info...but it's not finished yet.

My youngest thought this would be a nice touch...

Funny yes...but I think Stuart Little can stay home. :haha:

I never made a good school project. I always glued a piece of paper to a box.

LOL, she was doing fine on the project...it was me that kept putting it off. Jess is in grade 6.

I kinda like helping her with this kind of stuff, good father/daughter time. I don't help with any of the research stuff though. She did a project on Saturn about 3 years ago, so I built a model of saturn using a volleyball, paper mache etc etc. Her teacher had it entered in the regional science fair that year and Jess got a Gold ribbon for it. :waytogo:

Jeremy, are you insinuating that I'm not a good lookin fella?

She's almost as tall as Deb now...scary how fast it goes!! Seems like just yesterday I was reading her bedtime stories and stuff.

    I think Jess's taller than me already.

Totally up for wheeling a bit. Probably will come up by myself, so I can roam around looking at property without boring anyone to tears. So there will be more time to play than the last trip. No time to drive up tho, so we'll run around your country!:D

Tobie and the rest say hi BTW. All are doing well. Her daughter, all of 16, is 3 inches taller than me already. I get shorter every year...

Jess and her partner did their presentation today. This project was worth 1/3 of their grade for the year. It was marked in 5 sections each worth 100 marks. They got 500/500 for an A+ :waytogo:

I knew they were going to do well, but this teacher has been hard to impress all year for Jess so I didn't expect a perfect mark.
