Moved from back east last summer to get away from that damn snow and shoveling it. I lived there for a few years and am absolutely certain you DO NOT GET USED TO IT, YOU JUST TOLERATE IT. How can you like having to wear jackets, getting a mix of mud and salt all over your car, and for us here at ck5..RUST.
California is the place. Snow if you want it, beach if you want it, city life if you want it, solitude if you want it.

Today is a sunny day, the hills of Napa are green as the wild flowers began to bloom.

Order of states I would live in...
    1)California
    2)Arizona
    3)Florida
    4)Texas

I'd never live in Cali...the rest of your list looks OK though. New Mexico would prolly be pretty good too. Coastal Oregon and Washington is also quite nice...good weather and quite scenic.

Order of states I would live in...
1)California-Leaving in 8.5 days for good. I can't [darn] wait. This state sucks the south end of a north bound horse.

2)Arizona-it was okay, but won't go back.

3)Florida-it's east coast and no snow, it sucks.

4)Texas-Lived close enough to know what it's like and I'm moving back to being close to it.

5)New Mexico-Tried to move there, have been unsuccessful so far.........

There is absolutely nowhere else on this planet I would want to live. I lived in Hawaii, it was okay but it only snows on the Big Island. Lived in Kentucky for awhile, it was okay but snow shuts the state down. Georgia was okay, but it doesn't snow near Savannah and it's too damn humid.

Hmmm... So yer OK bound? Well I guess ya gotta follow the money... Peronally I still don't know where I want to live or what I want to be when I grow up. But Nevada is looking better and better all the time. Don't care for the beach. Haven't been to the ocean in years and I only live 20 miles from it. I like the mountains and deserts. But in Califukya they either charge you to get in, or they tell you ya can't drive in there or ya gotta be plain rich to live there. So just about anywhere besides Califukya would be a good move.

That's it. I dont like being too far from family and back home, love the wide open spaces and down home people. Thinking of moving either to so. missouri or houston...not really fond of houston, but it's worth looking into fo'sho.

On my way to Camp Doha Kuwait for a year for a contract fire dept job. anyone been there? sounds real hot!! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif but if I can stick it out for two years I can have my house paid off so it would be worth it. wonder if there is any 4 wheeling there? each engine crew shares a Toyota Landcruiser. should be fun for a while.

Moved to AZ from Cali 4 years ago and never looking back, I love it here, Summertime is hot as hell but I can still go out on a saturday and mow the lawn, wash the K5 and the wifes Safari and cool myself down with a nice iced tea.. The rest of the year is beautiful, wouldn't change a thing about it, If I want snow, I drive 2 hrs north to Flagstaff, 60-70 degree weather all throughout Fall, Winter, Spring..

Nevada, New Mexico, Texas would be my other choices..
