    Not even close...
I started with 2 deer burger patties and sandwiched a heaping helping of bleu cheese in between and cooked it, then covered it in roasted garlic shredded lettuce, onions ,tomatoes and peppercinis and home grown bacon, added ketchup , mustard and mayo and put it all on a buttered oven toasted bun. Add seasoned fries a cold dill pickle and a frosty Moosehead lager and I was good to go. As far as how good the burger was, well I have a sliding scale, however far the grease slides down my arm the better, from the wrist being 1 to the elbow being 10, it was an 11. I had to wipe the grease off the table when I was done...For dessert....Whiskey and chocolate, my personal favorite...:haha: :saweet:

I won't eat my brush munchers but I did butcher 6 chickens Wednesday was that not a vegan thing to do??Atleast I have an understanding now about how you live your life, and good for you for being concious. Like I said earlier, I agree whith alot you have to say but I will continue to eat meat and exploit animals but I will try not to use those that are mass produced. One thing I learned was that there is alot of things in comercial food stuffs that I can say I don't care for. Exploitation and conveyor belt prossesing do little for me, I'll try to be more self sestaining. Thats all I can guarentee...;)

The challenge was to go vegan, but you were the only one to come close. If nothing else we learn moderation, and by that I mean oats during the week and anything that moooves during the weekend...:D

Then they started drawing parallels between veganism and religious zealots....

You are 100% correct, but like I said from the start that wasn't going to happen for for me and my family. to you doing it full blown. I guess I need to make a post on my week too.

a muj isnt an animal... its a human... the most dangerous predator there is.... and I thank every soldier killing them... they have been at war for hundreds of years and it isnt going to stop in 50 lifetimes... eradication is the only answer
IM not a pacifist in anyway at all... although I prefer to avoid confrontation... but not at all costs... It may be a common misconception that someone who is trying to lead a conscious life/veganism would therefor be a whimp... couldnt be farther from the truth... a conscious life also means not allowing ones life energy to be drained (killed) by another
if the time comes for force use overwhelming amounts and give no quarter to your quarry

    nice guys finish last

now... defensless animals// thats a different story

I laughed my ass off tonight when Cheney shot a fellow bird hunter... now thats KARMA in your face... or was that bird pellets :-)
