Wow, your the first person I know that has it while on the brakes besides me.
I don't have any answeres for you, sorry. But am interested in finding out more
information like you. Oh, and my truck is completly stock with 31s, a worn out
stabalizer, and bent tie rod. Hopefully when I fix these, DW will go away.

After installing my 60 front I experience DW when braking, but I haven't hooked up the stabilizer yet. It was fine with the 44 front and stabilizer. Got a daily driver car so haven't messed with it yet

My only guess would be that you are loosing caster as the front springs wrap causing the DW. You might want to try some shims?

that makes sense to me, cuz i had some small shims when i had the 8 inch springs in there, and since i was dropping it down to 4 inch springs, i figured i didnt need them anymore..... thx........

I recently bought a 91 V3500 that is bone stock and it has DW when lightly braking at 35 mph. Like Triaged, I feel it's caster related (maybe due to sagging front springs). After the Christmas wallet bashing I'm going to install a 4" lift, add an aftermarket stabilizer and rebuild the knuckles, hopefully one of those 3 will stop it.

Ironically, I have a trail truck with 44's that has never had any DW symptoms.
