I guess the story behind this was that the deer was spooked by a car and jumped off of the overpass. Check out the photos in my album.

Looks like the driver got pretty lucky.
That could of been really bad, I hope no one was in the passenger seat.

Stop by any dealership and press on a fender of a new rig. All vehicles are made with the thinnest sheet metal that will hold a shape these days. It doesn't matter what name is on the grille... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Dang...maturity at it's best! With all the rust you say your chev has, I doubt it would fair a whole lot better if the same exact thing occured. A falling deer, colliding with a vehicle traveling at speeds upward of 50 I assume is gonna make a mess no matter what! He's a three point, or where he came from I guess you would call him a six point /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif, that's a keeper where I come from! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

i dont really like any new trucks as far as brand anymore, chevy went gay in 88' when they switched to ifs4wd and ferds disign sucked with thier twin traction beam 4wd, but they came back from the dead and put a sfa on their 3\4 and 1 ton trucks /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, and dodge, well they just plain suck, out of all the new trucks i see on the road as far as full size goes, id say ferd has somthing going on, but if i was to ever buy another truck, id get a 87 1 ton 4x4 chevy with a dana 60 king pin front and a 14ff rear np205\th400 and posibly a 454, no a 350 would be disireable would have anough spunk for my needs.

My good friend in high schools mom hit a drunk falling from a railroad trestle before he hit the ground with a volkswagon vanagon. It made a bit of a mess. Just thought I'd share. Some how I feel worse for the deer.
