How ould you define Four Wheeling?

Yea there can be jokes, but for the serious folks...think if webster asked you to write the definition for the next dictionary series...what would you say?

I had a campus reporter aske me today what my definition was (they're doing a 2 page feature on our 4 wheeling club...and I'm the president) anyways here's what I said:

"The act of driving a vehicle over a road or trail that tests the
mechanical limits of the vehicle, or driving skills of the operator. Usually
done in groups traveling over designated trails."

Allowing nature to modify a modified vehicle....or

the act of building a vehicle strong enough to handle the most extreme terrain, and then looking for more extreme terrain that will break the truck.

or just "Lovin to beat on my truck"

my take would be to modify it as such:

"The act of guiding a four wheel drive vehicle over an off road obstacle that sometimes tests the mechanical limits of the vehicle or driving skills of the operator. Usually done in groups travelling over designated off road trails"

I think you should stress the fact that four wheeling doesn't include 2 wheel drive vehicles on the street. At least that's not what I would consider four wheeling.

I like the added touch of "designated" trails.

I would have added something about enjoying being out in the wilderness you know the views and just plain being in the woods. Also like mentioned, the camaradarie.
