Are you having trouble getting the glovebox door off, or the knob off the glovebox door? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The glovebox door should have screws along the bottom that hold the door hinge to the dash assembly (not sure what that's really called).

On my 87, it appears that the only way to get the latch off would be to remove the knob handle, and expose the innards of the latch device. On my knob there's a small hole, like on a bathroom door lock, that might facilitate the removal of the knob, possibly by pushing in a 'lockpick' device like a straightened paperclip of good size/strength.

    Good luck!

I believe there is a small hole you need to insert a wire or paperclip into to help it come off.
